Doorbell camera video captured the moment a pizza deliveryman helped stop a suspect fleeing police. This is the whole story. A Brookhaven homeowner shared footage from his Ring camera when Cocco’s Pizzeria deliveryman Tytler Morrell tripped a suspect who was fleeing police, Fox 29 reported. Reporters asked Morrell what gave him the courage to step in and help, and he added that he never thought about doing anything but stepping in. He added that he was raised to stand up for something that wasn’t right, he was just doing his part. The video shows police stopping in front of the house where Morrell was delivering pizza when the suspect got out of the car and began running away. Morrell put his foot out to block the suspect.
Suspected pizza delivery driver
The suspect fell to the ground and Brookhaven police made an arrest. That protruding leg was strong enough to trip the suspect, causing him to fall to the ground and be arrested by police. The incident was recorded by the customer’s security camera. Police said they also arrested Jhonael Gutirrez-Tejada, 19, who was believed to be a passenger in the stolen vehicle. After all the chaos was over, Morell still managed to safely deliver the pizza. The person who ordered the pizza rated him 10 out of 10!
It is known that Tejada is facing charges of receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and other charges. He is being held on $50,000 bail. The 17-year-old suspect is also facing charges. Thank you for your patient reading.

Great job for the pizza guy. But I just hope he won’t be sued by criminals or crime families 😅

If it were a democratic area, the pizza seller would be charged with assault after being thanked by the police. 😢pic.twitter.com/jDpBywib8i

I’m glad the delivery man did that, but I’m worried the suspect’s lawyer will write papers for the suspect to sue the delivery man for assault. Hopefully not, but with today’s lawyers, meh.

Depending on the state, this happens to the pizza guy who could get sued, sadly
