After launching Trivia live games to increase engagement and introducing the long-awaited auto-scrolling option, the social media platform has come up with another feature.

Nudge has been around since 2022, however, it did not receive the expected attention from users because they can’t figure out how to use it. Here’s everything you need to know about this feature.

TikTok’s Nudge feature explained

On TikTok, the Nudge feature is used to notify your favorite content creators, letting them know you want them to go live so you can watch them in real time.

When someone pushes you, they will have access to updates directly from your account. However, this feature is said to be still being tested so not everyone can use it at the moment.

The additional option seems to be made to increase engagement between daily viewers and content creators with just one click.

How to use Nudge on TikTok

If you want to attract a certain content creator, you will need to visit their profile and tap the little bell at the top right of your screen.

You will then get the option to change Notification Settings directly, in which you can find a button that will allow you to move the TikToker.

If you don’t want to be prompted, you can turn this feature off by going to Creator Tools and selecting Edit from the options. This page has an option called “Let viewers motivate you,” which can be turned on or off.
