After several hours on Thursday, police responded to a house fire in Innaloo, where police found Luke Noormets dead. After conducting an investigation, police said that the two victims found dead on the same day both had a relationship in the past. Therefore, they are investigating the case as a murder-suicide. However, it has not yet been concluded that the deaths of Georgia Lyall and Luke Noormets were the result of a murder-suicide. An investigation is underway and detectives are at both crime scenes. One of her neighbours, Bella Harding, said: “To be honest, we didn’t hear anything, we just woke up to see the police at our door. We’ve only known Georgia for a year, but in that short time, we’ve learned that she’s kind, funny, and independent, and that she’s incredibly generous both with things and with the time she gives to others. She was a mother who loved her son and my heart just goes out to that family and her child.” She is the mother of her five-year-old son.
