However, one of these types of videos has caused confusion among some social media users, as TikTokers seem to be obsessed with a particular type of Christmas decoration; Little red trucks carrying Christmas trees.
The hashtag #littleredtruckhaulingachristmastree has more than 13.8 million views, with most mentioning a specific video. But why are people suddenly interested in little red trucks carrying Christmas trees?
What started the red minivan pulling the Christmas tree trend on TikTok?
On November 21, TikTok user mello_yoshi posted a video showing viewers all the Christmas decorations his mother gave him, and they all had a clear theme.
“Yo, look at these Christmas decorations my mom bought me,” he said in a festive video, which has been viewed more than 16.8 million times and has more than 2.9 million likes.

As he sips from the cup containing LRTHACT, the TikToker moves around a house that can best be described as a museum for this truck and that tree. We then landed on a glowing ceramic LRTHACT, followed by a welcome mat and decorative handkerchiefs.
“I understand what this is, but it has a red minivan carrying a Christmas tree,” he exclaimed as he showed viewers a spoon with the word LRTHACT on it.
Since Mello posted his video, several other creators have banded together to make LRTHACT trend as they head to stores to point out every item they can find with a small red truck carrying a Christmas tree on it while recreating Mello’s Southern accent as theirs. .
This isn’t the only Christmas-related video to go viral on TikTok this year. Recently, a grandmother went viral after sharing the mountain of gifts she bought for her grandchild for his first Christmas, and TikTok loved it.
