Police have arrested a woman following the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old near 9th and Walnut in Racine, Wisconsin. It is understood police responded to a complaint at around 6.30pm on Saturday, where they found a 27-year-old man lying on the ground surrounded by a pool of his own blood. He was stabbed multiple times in the chest. Racine Police Department police confirmed the victim died after being taken to the hospital. The suspect was identified as Adela Gomez. She is a 28-year-old woman, currently in jail waiting to be charged. The first-degree intentional murder charge against Adela Gomez is still pending. The victim’s neighbor, David Molkentine, confirmed that Adela Gomez and the victim knew each other and that they had always been friendly. “What I heard on Saturday night will haunt me,” he said. “Then suddenly I heard, ‘You stabbed me!’” David Molkentine said. Suddenly he saw his neighbor as he came out holding his bloody chest. “He came out clutching his chest and covered in blood — blood was leaking out,” he said, adding that his neighbor knocked on the door for help after he was stabbed in the chest and later died in his arms. Police confirmed that Gomez confessed to the crime. Molekntine said, “Why should people die in your arms in your driveway in this day and age?
