Who is Julie? Missing Person Streaky Bay

An urgent search is still underway for the missing mother of three in South Australia, while emergency services are expanding the area of ​​investigation. Julie, from Queensland, was last seen around 5pm on Sunday, May 7 in Streaky Bay after disappearing while on holiday with her husband on the state’s Eyre Peninsula. The search area has now been extended to the area around Streaky Bay Airport following a comprehensive search of the town.

Reportedly, a 48-year-old is described as about 170cm tall with shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing jeans, a blue striped top with a star in the center, and light boots. Julie’s brother had journeyed from Queensland to Streaky Bay to help with the search and concerns for her welfare were growing. Police received a report that Julie may have been spotted hitchhiking in Streaky Bay, however that has been treated as an unconfirmed sight.

Director Paul Bahr says they are looking for anyone, especially those who were driving around or into or through the site on Sunday night, who may have dashcam footage. They stated that they would love to see the footage. Multiple emergency teams have conducted extensive air and land searches around Streaky Bay and surrounding areas.

The search was suspended on Wednesday night and resumed at dawn this morning. Todd told PKB News that the process was quite difficult to handle as the family was doing the best they could and trying to stay positive during the difficult situation. The family insists Julie never disappeared without explanation. They pray Julie will return from wherever she is.
