Renowned director Siddique Ismail has sadly passed away in Kochi. He was admitted to Amrita Hospital in Kochi last month due to liver disease. On a fateful Monday afternoon, Siddique suffered a heart attack and was subsequently placed on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support as part of his treatment. Despite dedicated medical efforts, Siddique Ismail’s condition did not improve and he passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening while still undergoing treatment. Siddique Ismail’s remains will be accessible to the public to pay their respects. They will be kept at Kadavanthra’s Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium from 9 am to 11.30 am and thereafter at his residence. The final farewell ceremony will take place at 6pm on Wednesday through his funeral proceedings.
