If you are a pop music lover, you probably know Sophie Monk. She was a member of the former 90s girl group Bardot, which had many chart-topping hits.
Besides being a pop star, she also has an impressive career as an actress. Her acting resume includes roles in the iconic early 2000s films Click and Date Movie.
Now she’s adding hosting to her legacy by entertaining Love Island Australia viewers since its debut season in 2018.
Sophie is a perfect fit for the show, due to the fact that she has appeared as a contestant on Masked Singer Australia & The Bachelorette Australia.
Her experience in reality TV is exactly what the dating show needs in a host.
“I sympathize with them. I have done a lot of reality shows so I know exactly where they stand,” she said in an interview.
Love Island AU is set to return with Sophie Monk for the highly anticipated Season 5 on October 30.
