Back in July 2023, one tweet there is a video with an unusual situation that has attracted more than 10.2 million views. In the video, a woman is walking towards the front of the plane while warning other passengers about a certain threat.
The woman in the video claimed she had to get off the plane because someone in the back of the plane “wasn’t real” and the rest of the passengers could “die with him” or get off the plane.
One month after the tweet went viral, the woman was identified as Tiffany Gomas, a 38-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas.
What caused the “unreal” plane explosion?
Viewers were immediately curious to know exactly what Gomas saw, with some even speculating that she staged the whole thing as a stunt with the intention of going viral.
However, it was reported that the explosion started with an argument over AirPods. The New York Post reported at the time that Gomas had argued with relatives, accusing them of stealing her AirPods.
Police documents say Gomas did not want to leave the flight and had to be taken away by staff.
“The woman then began to believe that the plane was unsafe and did not want the plane to take off because she believed it would not reach its destination,” the complaint states.

“I got into a bit of controversy,” she continued. “It got out of control. It wasn’t my finest moment. I mean, it was truly a terrible moment. Absolutely disgraceful.”

Apparently, with this parody becoming quite viral, it didn’t take long for it to get on her radar. “Wow, this is embarrassing,” Gomas said. However, she seemed to see the funny side of it as she used a number of laughing emojis in response.
A lot of viewers agreed with Gomas’ assessment of it and thought it was quite clever. Some even said she “finally made it” after being mocked on SNL. “This is amazing, she did it,” one person said. “This is an honor,” another added.
