Who is Ayush Dankhara?

Ayush Dhankhara is the son of Ramesh Dhankara, a prominent DSP of Gujarat Police, who was the second student from Gujarat studying at York University, Toronto to tragically lose his life within a month. According to his uncle, he used to live in a shared apartment on Lawrence Avenue West in Toronto. On May 6, his roommate informed his brother that Ayush had not returned home for a day. Despite repeated attempts, they were unable to contact him, fueling the search.

After filing an official missing person report with Toronto police’s 55th Division, the family discovered a body on May 7, lying underneath a bridge. The photo confirms the deceased’s name is Ayush, his father went to Canada to complete the necessary procedures and bring the body back to the country for the last rites and funeral. Recently, a similar incident happened where Harsh Patel was also found dead under mysterious circumstances. Both are nearing completion of their degrees at New York University, Ayush in engineering and Harsh in management studies. In both cases, bodies were discovered in bodies of water.

It is known that both people had been missing for more than a day and had no phones around, so the possibility of suicide was ruled out. However, Harsh Patel’s family is seeking closure as no important details regarding the information about the date of his death have come to light. Siddhant Shah, 19, and Aryan Vaidya, 20, went swimming in Monroe Lake, about 64 miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis, with a group of friends on April 15 but did not resurface, the Department of Natural Resources said. Nature Indiana stated in a press release. The bodies were located and recovered by search teams on April 18 east of Paynetown Marina in 18 feet of water. The two were rowing on a pontoon when their group anchored to swim in the 10,750-acre lake, which is 35-40 feet deep. Indiana University student services brought the rest of the group back to campus where they were offered counseling services.
