Nene Leakes is the famous queen bee of RHOA, and her popularity and career skyrocketed when she joined the show. Nene was highly sought after by industry insiders and fans, but that was until she got into legal issues with Bravo and NBC.
Now, the only thing Nene has been aiming for in the past year is litigating or dismissing cases in court. The breakout star and RHOA’s OG Housewife chose to bid farewell to the show in 2020 when she informed fans that she would not return for season 13. However, Nene did not have an explicit goodbye and intimate with Bravo.

Immediately after leaving the franchise, Nene initiated a war by suing the entire production company. She decided to file a lawsuit against True Entertainment, Bravo, NBCUniversal, Truly Television and even Bravo head Andy Cohen.
The lawsuit claims, “NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not encouraged.”
Fans praised Nene for standing up for a cause that is important to her even if it means biting the hand that once fed you. Surprisingly, this did not last long as Nene withdrew before the war became serious.
She opened up about her dismissal of the lawsuit in an interview with Carlos King. “I have no hard feelings,” she said. I am Sagittarius. So at some point, I may be angry with you, but I will get over it. I’m not the type of girl to harbor grudges or hold grudges forever. Me neither [an] ass kisser.”
Nene’s behavior left most fans confused and naturally controversy began to arise that the reality star might be re-evaluating her alliances. After some more suspicious chains of events, fans are now speculating about Nene Leakes returning to RHOA.
