Why Tyler Posey felt “robbed” after The Masked Singer was eliminated 2023

Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey has revealed how he initially felt “robbed” after being eliminated from The Masked Singer.

Fox’s The Masked Singer has unmasked many celebrities over the course of its ten seasons. Previous examples include Dick Van Dyke, Nick Lachey and T-Pain.

The 10th season of the singing competition has officially begun with themed music nights such as Elton John songs and hits from the 2000s. Since its launch, The Masked Singer Season 10 has voted some familiar faces, including Billie Jean King and Tom Sandoval.

On October 25, Posey, disguised as Hawk, was sent home on Harry Potter night. However, the actor initially felt “stressed” after being eliminated.

In an interview with CinemaBlend, Posey discussed how he felt after being eliminated from The Masked Singer. “At first I felt a bit robbed. So there was a little bit of tension on my part just because I’m very competitive,” he said.

Posey performed “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” by The Police before losing to Tiki in a showdown with “Monster” by Lady Gaga. None of the panelists guessed Posey was wearing a mask. Instead, they think he’s Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Cole Sprouse, Chad Michael Murray or Ryan Phillippe.

The judges’ verdict on Billie Joe Armstrong satisfied Posey, and he was able to put his competitiveness aside. “I was like, ‘What am I doing? This is a fun TV show. There is no point in being competitive and being silly,” he commented.

“And so I thought I could be okay without this classically trained singing voice. I do not know. I thought I had it, so I really felt like there was something going on that I didn’t know about,” Posey continued.

“Whether it was politics and I got robbed, or whether they were paying attention to a certain element of the show rather than the whole thing. I really do not know.”
