Why can’t I add a link to my TikTok bio?
If you can’t add a clickable website link to your TikTok profile, there could be a number of reasons. Here is a look at some of them.
1. You don’t have a business account yet
The website linking feature on TikTok is currently only available for business account users. Check if you have a business account.
2. You have less than 1,000 followers
In January 2022, TikTok released an update that prevented business accounts with fewer than 1,000 followers from adding links to their bios. This update is designed to avoid spam. You must have both 1,000+ followers and a business account to have a link in your bio.
3. Sitelinks feature is not available in your country yet
Finally, if you meet the above requirements but still cannot access the website linking feature, it may be because you have not completed the business registration process. Business accounts are available in most countries, but included features may vary.
How to add clickable links to your TikTok bio
To add a link to your TikTok bio, you first need to make sure you have a business account. The sitelink feature is only available on TikTok business accounts, and you also need to have at least 1,000 followers. If you need a larger following, you should look for ways to get more followers on TikTok.
How to change business TikTok account

To change your personal account to a business account, go to your TikTok profile and tap the menu icon in the top right corner of your screen. Go to Settings and privacy, then select Account. You’ll then see the option to Switch to a Business Account. Simply select the option and then follow the instructions.
You can easily switch back to your personal account from the same place in Settings at any time.
How to add your website to TikTok for business
Once you have a TikTok business account, go back to your TikTok profile and tap Edit Profile. Here, if your account meets the requirements, you will see the option to Add your website. Enter the link you want to appear in your TikTik bio, then tap Save.
Workaround to add sitelinks to your bio
If you don’t want to switch to a business account, have fewer than 1,000 followers, or sitelinks aren’t available in your country, there are some alternatives that can help you get your links in with the audience.
1. Add a non-clickable link to your TikTok bio

While it may not allow users to click on your link directly from TikTok, your followers can still copy the non-clickable link from your profile. Just go to your profile and tap Edit Profile to add a non-clickable link to your personal or business TikTok profile. Select your Bio and then enter your link. Tap Save and your link will now appear in your profile.
You can direct your audience to your link by adding it to your TikTok Q&A or mentioning it at the end of your video.
2. Link TikTok to your Instagram

Another way to drive followers to your website is to connect your TikTok profile to your Instagram. Instagram makes it easier to add links to your bio so your audience can visit your website there. To connect TikTok to your Instagram account, go to your profile and tap Edit Profile. From there, scroll down to the Social section and tap Add Instagram to your profile.
Follow the login instructions and you’re ready to go. Your TikTok followers can now follow you on Instagram and view your Instagram Stories. TikTok displays a convenient Instagram icon above your bio for people to click on.
Can you add two website links to your TikTok bio?
Currently, you can only add a website link to your business TikTok profile using the linking feature, but hope is not lost! If you want to add more links to your TikTok bio, you can create a Linktree page, then add the Linktree link to the bio in place of your website. This will allow you to house multiple links in one place, perfect for businesses that need to drive traffic to different locations.
You can also link up to five websites on Instagram, so if your Instagram is connected to TikTok, you can direct people to multiple links in your Instagram bio.
