A woman who wanted to “shake the hornet’s nest” started an OnlyFans account after five years of posting brick-laying content, and the switch has clearly paid off.
With over 190 million registered users, OnlyFans has become a popular choice for those looking to make some extra money.
That’s the case for Darcie Richards, 28, who built a tiled content posting platform, a skill she learned from her father.
However, feeling her content was getting stale, Darcie decided it was time to take a new direction and spice things up with OnlyFans.
“I thought, ‘I want to make more money. What can I do to shake up the hornet’s nest?’” Darcie told the New York Post. “So I thought I’d make myself an OnlyFans page.”
And the move was worth it, as Darcie earned around $20,000 per month through the adult website alone. Not to mention, her best week on OnlyFans helped Darcie earn $12,340.
However, the transition to adult content has not been without its troubles and Darcie has faced a lot of hate comments. One person even wrote on her Instagram; “Once a woman with serious influence in the construction industry, now resorting to this nonsense.”
Darcie replied: “I was also a waitress and worked at Subway, a hairdresser, a kitchen porter, a furniture factory, an animal sanctuary… what do you mean? Who says I have to stay in one profession and never leave or try [to] run my own business or work for myself or make more money….?”

Despite some backlash, Darcie said she has learned how to stop the hate. And the young bricklayer turned OnlyFans creator has her mother’s support.
“Darcie hasn’t changed a bit about herself. She is still our daughter, she is still exactly the same as before,” Darcie’s mother told the New York Post. “Except she would disappear into the bedroom for three or four hours, after that [make] five times more than the boys working hard on the construction site.”
