A new TikTok trend has taken over the platform as women show off their boyfriends’ “glow” in what’s been dubbed the “girlfriend effect.”<\/p>\n

When it comes to a successful relationship, there are many factors that play an important role; personality, interests, beliefs, values \u200b\u200band of course love.<\/p>\n

But while looks aren’t everything, physical attractiveness is considered extremely important when seeking a certain level of intimacy with that special someone.<\/p>\n

Luckily, a new TikTok trend is here to help. With over 58 million views on the platform, the \u201cgirlfriend effect\u201d claims men will experience \u201ceuphoria\u201d when they are loved and in a relationship.<\/p>\n

Women have been throwing their boyfriends under the bus for this trend with \u201cbefore\u201d and \u201cafter\u201d photos that show how their partner’s appearance has changed throughout their relationship.<\/p>\n

And the general consensus seems to be that girls have equally radiant skin. Obviously, having a girlfriend comes with the added benefits of some better styling tips and motivation to improve your grooming habits.<\/p>\n

One TikToker, ‘stellabellakate’, shared her boyfriend’s transformation, writing, \u201cHe [going to] Kill me for posting this but I will definitely beat this trend.\u201d<\/p>\n

And her viewers seemed to agree, with one commenter claiming Stella \u201csaved\u201d her boyfriend. Another said, \u201cYou crushed it, Queen. He looks completely new!\u201d However, others had very different reactions; \u201cAs a woman I need it [the] \u2018girlfriend effect\u2019 ON YOURSELF.\u201d<\/p>\n

TikToker Sooshy also posted her husband’s “girlfriend effect” transformation only for her partner to humorously comment: “Without you, I would be single and unfashionable.”<\/p>\n
