Disney has been accused of \u201cinterference\u201d amid an ongoing lawsuit surrounding a \u201cserious\u201d water slide injury that occurred at one of its theme parks.<\/p>\n

For thrill-seekers, Humunga Kowabunga could be the perfect ride. Found at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida, it is advertised as the \u201cfastest, steepest waterslide\u201d offered at Typhoon Lagoon.<\/p>\n

On their website, it claims that riders \u201cwon’t know what’s coming\u201d when they take the 214-foot drop, but now it seems the ride delivers on its promise. there.<\/p>\n

A woman and her husband are suing Walt Disney Parks and Resorts after she suffered \u201csevere and permanent\u201d injuries while sliding down a 65-meter water slide \u2014 and internet users are making false claims. theory that Disney is trying to “downplay” the incident.<\/p>\n

Emma McGuinness was celebrating her 30th birthday with husband Edward and his family when their holiday at the resort was cut short on October 14, 2019.<\/p>\n

The couple is now suing for damages and taxable costs, with the lawsuit accusing Disney of \u201cnegligence and breach of the duty of reasonable care.\u201d Internet users were quick to respond to the news, alleging possible \u201cinterference\u201d in the way the lawsuit has been reported so far.<\/p>\n

One Twitter user wrote that Emma’s “very serious” injuries were downplayed by Disney as a “painful injury”. \u201cIntentionally lying about the seriousness of the plaintiff’s claims in order to falsely portray them as some greedy fraudster abusing the legal system is also subject to further action for [fraud or defamation in my opinion].\u201d<\/p>\n

Another wrote sarcastically: \u201cAh yes, because I absolutely had a bad wedgie that caused severe gynecological trauma and damaged my reproductive system and intestines enough to require surgery! Stop meddling with Disney!\u201d<\/p>\n
