TikToker Aceyaa went somewhat viral after claiming an Airbnb host \u201cscammed\u201d her out of $2,300 after making \u201cfalse statements\u201d about the status of her family leaving the home they were staying in. live.<\/p>\n

As TikTok has become an important part of the daily routine of many social media users, many have used it as a platform for them to vent about their ongoing activities.<\/p>\n

One popular subgenre within that focuses on Airbnb, with many TikTokers using the platform as a way to expose bad hosts and make them explode. Of course, you will also see hosts attacking unruly guests.<\/p>\n

In Aceyaa\u2019s case, she went viral over the past few days after claiming that a Toronto-based Airbnb host \u201cscammed\u201d her out of $2,300.<\/p>\n

The TikToker criticized the Airbnb host, saying she damaged the house<\/h2>\n

The TikToker revealed that, during a recent trip to Toronto, her Airbnb host was \u201camazing\u201d in communication and everything else, right up to the moment she and her family checked out.<\/p>\n

Aceyaa said she requested a late check-out and paid the corresponding fee. However, when she was asked to reconsider, things changed and the host became strict with the requests. The TikToker also forgot to take a photo of how she left the house, with the homeowner later claiming that her family broke and damaged $2,300 worth of furniture.<\/p>\n

Even with Airbnb’s involvement, the company still sided with the hosts because Aceyaa had no photos to prove its point. However, she argued that the presenter did not date or time-stamp his photos and that they may be old.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never use Airbnb again. Don’t even stay in an Airbnb, go rent a hotel because this is ridiculous,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n

Aceyaa also added that she too went the legal route with things, but couldn’t name the host for that even though viewers wanted her to highlight him.<\/p>\n

However, the TikToker has provided an update, revealing some of the messages sent from the server. That included her saying she was \u201cdisturbed\u201d by \u201cfalse statements\u201d he made against her.<\/p>\n

Other viewers noted that they’ve had similar experiences with hosts, especially in Toronto, and that’s why they stick with hotels.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen whether anything will happen with her legal case.<\/p>\n
