A school bus driver was fired after accidentally drinking White Claw while on the job.<\/p>\n

A school bus driver was fired for drinking White Claw while on the job because the fizzy drink contained alcohol.<\/p>\n

The woman, Amal Hanna, was not given permission by school administrators despite also battling cancer, which left her unable to taste the alcohol in her drinks.<\/p>\n

Thinking it was just a mistake, the community decided to rally around Hanna and raise money because she was quite miserable after being fired.<\/p>\n

Amal Hanna worked as a school bus driver for 15 years<\/h2>\n

Hanna is currently undergoing chemotherapy, so when she takes a sip of White Claw, she just thinks she’s drinking flavored water, because she has trouble tasting what she eats.<\/p>\n

Although she had already begun her bus route for the school day, Hanna was immediately taken off the bus when someone discovered her White Claw in the cup holder near her driver’s seat.<\/p>\n

Speaking to News12, Hanna teared up as she explained how she handled being fired for the mistake, saying, \u201cI cried and cried, I didn’t even have any tears anymore. It was just a mistake, it was a mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

The school district’s bus transportation company also released a statement saying, “This alleged behavior is completely unacceptable and the driver was immediately suspended.”<\/p>\n

After her firing, parents of the students Hanna drove to school were quick to defend her, saying she was meticulous with her time, kind to their children, and treated them like their own throughout. 15 years as a bus driver.<\/p>\n

Parents also started raising money for Hanna by creating a GoFundMe. In just one week, the community raised more than $42,000 for Hanna as she battled cancer treatments without financial stability.<\/p>\n
