Roberta Williams escaped jail after encouraging the assault of a Mob Wives television producer. It’s a proposed reality TV show that has an unexpected twist: the star is charged with a crime after staging an assault on the show’s producer. Although the show was never shown, production continued for three years until Friday, when criminal Roberta Williams and her two thugs left the courthouse. Williams, the ex-wife of gangland killer Carl Williams, was found guilty on Friday and sentenced to a community corrections order (CCO) for blackmailing and threatening television producer Ryan Naumenko. Why was Roberta Williams arrested?<\/h2>\n

According to District Court Judge Fiona Todd, the abuse began two months after Naumenko approached Williams via Instagram with the suggestion that he had experience in the Australian television industry and wanted to create a reality series about \u201c Mob Wives\u201d focused on her. Williams decided to participate and Naumenko informed her that the idea had received $50,000 through crowdfunding and that Netflix was rumored to be interested. After Williams and close friend Daniel De Silva, whose production business, Cloakroom Media, collaborated on the project, filmed scenes in a Hampton rental, Todd stated that they suspected that Naumenko was \u201cscamming island\u201d them. De Silva also owes money to Naumenko.<\/p>\n

Williams and De Silva were scheduled to meet Naumenko at Cloakroom Media’s Collingwood studios on 9 July 2019. Williams WhatsApped De Silva to say it would be no big deal if either of the boys gave Naumenko a \u201ca blunt slap and a push\u201d to motivate him to return the money to Williams. Hassam Al Zwainy, Jake Sexton and James Harrison were referred to as \u201cthe boys\u201d in court. Williams invited his friends and Harrison to the event. When everyone arrived at the studio around 8:30 p.m., De Silva toasted the project but informed Naumenko, It’s over now. he said that Williams and he both wanted compensation. The judge claimed Sexton and Harrison frequently kicked and punched Naumenko over the next three hours, and on one occasion he was threatened with a pistol. The judge also said that Naumenko was chained to the chair. Although he did not attack the producer, Al Zwainy still advised him not to call the police.<\/p>\n

Williams once exclaimed to his companions that he had no money.\u201d Naumenko coordinated the transfer of his mother’s car as well as $1000 each from his father and sister to the studio’s bank account. De Silva drove Naumenko home around 11:30 p.m. The producer called the police two days later after his mother took photos of the cuts and bruises on his face. Williams pleaded guilty to extortion and intentionally damaging her cooperation in the attack, even though she did not participate, after months of discussions between prosecutors and defense attorneys.
