A Kick streamer has faced backlash from viewers after blatantly taking cash from a tip jar and then using the stolen money to pay for his food order at the same facility.<\/p>\n

IRL and Kick gaming streamer ‘sweergxd’ was streaming while out with friends on Sunday, October 15, when he stopped by a local diner.<\/p>\n

While waiting to be served, in full view of the watching audience, he reached into the glass tip jar on the counter and pulled out a handful of money.<\/p>\n

The closest employee did not see the theft but served the streaming girl, completely unaware that the cash he was about to hand over was actually a tip for her and her colleagues.<\/p>\n

Indeed, lengxd used the stolen cash as well as paying for the remainder of the order by card.<\/p>\n

Viewers were dumbfounded and called him out in the chat. \u201cYou’re looking at the camera you idiot,\u201d one viewer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’re crazy for that,\u201d another commented. Others left comments like \u201cyou’re so weird\u201d and asked \u201cwhat’s wrong with you?\u201d<\/p>\n

Some viewers seemed to find this situation funny, but the majority of reactions were negative. After going to get a drink, lengxd asked his chat, “Do I find that strange?”<\/p>\n

Many viewers told him to tip himself to make up for the lost money, but the streamer left immediately without tipping.<\/p>\n

Kick, still a relatively young streaming platform, has been taking steps to improve moderation. This includes adding a report button on all channels starting October 6.<\/p>\n

However, the platform still faces criticism for its lax moderation, with streamers said to be more likely to get away with questionable behavior without being suspended, according to regulators. Criticism of the site.<\/p>\n
