A woman on TikTok has shared her \u201creally unsettling\u201d story of how she sought revenge on a man for 15 years after he spat on her friend.<\/p>\n

You may have heard the saying “revenge is a dish best eaten cold”. It dates from 1782, translated from the epic novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.<\/p>\n

The idea is that revenge feels most satisfying when exacted some time after the initial situation has cooled. However, it seems that one woman took this proverb to heart.<\/p>\n

According to ‘lindasolleyhurd’ online, Linda shared on TikTok her \u201creally unhinged\u201d 15-year revenge against a man who once spat and insulted her friend at a bar.<\/p>\n

\u201c15 years ago, when I was in college, I went to a comedy show with some friends,\u201d Linda begins. While attending the performance, her friend accidentally spilled a man’s drink, leading to a heated situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe stood up and called her ‘stupid, fat’\u2026 and then he spit on her,\u201d Linda said. When Linda came to defend her friend, she only received insults. So she decided to take revenge.<\/p>\n

Finding the man on Facebook, Linda learns what his favorite TV show is and proceeds to create a fake account to reveal each upcoming episode. \u201cHe would make angry Facebook statuses and tweets like \u2018Who is sending me this?’\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

This continued for many years before Linda decided she was over her grudge, but fate brought the two together again. Years later, when the man was engaged, Linda accidentally found his Reddit account.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw some pretty sinister stuff on his Reddit,\u201d Linda said, explaining that she later anonymously informed his fiance about what had been posted online.<\/p>\n
