Based on his recent WWHL appearance, Kyle is taking no sides in the Below Deck Med Season 8 drama between Nat and Tumi.<\/p>\n

Chief Steward Tumi Mhlongo and Third Steward Nat Scudder took center stage in Season 8. And no, not in a good way.<\/p>\n

From the second Tumi got on the boat and took over leadership duties (because Nat had to replace her until she arrived), the two were at odds.<\/p>\n

What made matters worse was the fact that Tumi texted Steward Kyle Viljoen about their drama and wrote in the text that she needed Nat to stay in her lane. Instead of Kyle keeping the messages private, he decided to spill the tea and reveal Tumi’s comments to Nat, making their relationship even worse.<\/p>\n

Fans shared their disappointment with Kyle for coming between the two of them. However, the crew member still did not believe he had done anything wrong. In fact, he doesn’t think it’s a bad idea for them to be fired.<\/p>\n

On October 16, Kyle appeared as a guest on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen.<\/p>\n

When the host asked him about stirring up the relationship between Nat and Tumi, Kyle said he didn’t feel as though he had misrepresented the text.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely not,\u201d he said. I feel like I’m representing both sides. I came to you in confidence and you took that information and turned it against me. So now we’re where we are and I’m learning lessons throughout the season.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reality star also supported Captain Sandy for threatening to fire both girls for not getting along.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that’s very valuable. It’s difficult because you have to suppress your emotions as Chief Stew, you really have to calm down. So for it to get to that point, it’s really bad,\u201d he said on WWHL.<\/p>\n

Nat and Tumi have yet to publicly respond to his comments.<\/p>\n
