April from The Golden Bachelor isn’t shy about admitting that she gets some alone time with Gerry by any means necessary.<\/p>\n

Starring Gerry Turner, the ABC dating series The Golden Bachelor revolves around a group of older women vying for his love.<\/p>\n

One of the single hopefuls in the competition is April Kirkwood, who is determined to get his attention and steal him away from the others. So when the group met up to play dodge ball, she pretended to injure her ankle.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview, she reflected on the on-screen moment and still believes her game is nothing to be ashamed of.<\/p>\n

Did Bachelor Gold’s April fake an injury?<\/h2>\n

On October 20, April spoke to ET and not only doubled down on her fake injury, but also revealed that she received immediate karma from it.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cA girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do\u2026I mean, if you push me in drastic moments, I’ll do it. The truth is I injured my ankle when I got home, so now I go to the chiropractor and he pulls it back.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reality TV star went on to say that she is not used to competing for love and that seeing Gerry interact with other women is very uncomfortable.<\/p>\n

April admits, \u201cI pulled back because I thought, ‘I don’t want to chase someone who doesn’t want me.’ It’s uncomfortable for me. That’s not behavior I’m used to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that April has been eliminated, the pool of women Gerry has to choose from is getting smaller and smaller. Who will win his heart in the end? Only time will tell.<\/p>\n
