A TikToker has divided the Internet after claiming that the difference between Generation Z and Millennials lies in how they wear their socks.<\/p>\n

Every generation has its own fashion rules that determine what goes in and what goes out. And Gen Z doesn’t bother.<\/p>\n

First, they think the middle is the only solution when the side suddenly loses its edge and becomes a symbol of old age. Next, dance steps are considered a sign of who was born in which decade.<\/p>\n

And now it looks like socks are the next product decided by Zoomers; According to one TikToker, how you wear them is a big indicator of what generation you belong to.<\/p>\n

Phoebe Parsons, who goes by ‘phoebeacp’ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to share her observations. According to her, \u201cThis is exactly how you can tell the difference between Millennials and Gen Z just by looking at their feet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGeneration Z only wears socks and millennials still wear ankle socks,\u201d says Parsons, proving his point (and age) by revealing hidden ankle socks own feet.<\/p>\n

The video sparked an outcry from shocked millennials, many of whom were embarrassed by this accepted change in fashion; \u201cIf they were bullied as aggressively over the smallest bit as we are, they would never dare.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s a strange change. As millennials, we were taught that that’s what old people do,\u201d one person wrote, proving that fashion truly does always come back. Another, who clearly has no plans to change her style anytime soon, said: \u201cThe socks remind me of when my mother dressed me as a child. It makes me feel like a little child.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, not all Gen Z agrees with Parsons’ assessment; \u201cI never understand why someone says ‘all Millennials do this’ when in fact we all don’t. Some may, but that’s not all.\u201d<\/p>\n
