Akito Hirose’s parents, Chris and Susan Hirose, have had a significant effect on his professional achievements. Hirose is an experienced ice hockey defenseman who attended Minnesota State University. Hirose played in the British Columbia Hockey League before transferring to university, where he led the league in defense scoring and was named BCHL Best Defenseman and first-team All-Star for the 2019-20 season.
