Amarveer, 63, was convicted of raping more than 100 women in Fatehabad, Haryana. Additional district judge Balwant Singh sentenced Amarpuri, 63, to 14 years in prison. Fatehabad fast track court Billuram is also known as Amarpuri<\/em> The punishment was announced for 14 years under the POCSO Act, five years under the Information Technology Act and 14 years in the rape case, but all the sentences will be served concurrently.<\/p>\n

Amarbir Jalebi Baba is also known as Amarpuri Billu. Jalebi Baba was sentenced by a special fast-track court. Not only was he accused of rape, but he also recorded video clips of those crimes. Known as Jalebi Baba, the poacher used to force women to get drunk and rape them, then blackmail them by recording obscene videos on his mobile phone. For that he was convicted under the IT Act, NDPS Act and Arms Act.<\/p>\n

Victim’s lawyer Sanjay Verma said all sentences will run concurrently and Tantric will spend 14 years in prison. He said he has been in prison for the past four and a half years, he should have been in prison for nine and a half years. The accused father was acquitted under the Arms Act. A copy of the order will reveal other details of the decision. Self-proclaimed godman Amarveer, popularly known as Amarpuri alias Billu, was convicted of rape by a Fatehabad court on January 5. Because a full trial cannot be held on January 7, the defendant cannot be sentenced. After the judge pronounced the guilty verdict, the father burst into tears in the courtroom.<\/p>\n
