Dave von Raven was pleased that his ailing father went to the Thrill concert I was able to get. The man was on a stretcher on stage and told the singer from the band about the homemade apple pie. <\/p>\n

The 38-year-old Dutch artist mentioned in the show that he is grateful that his father provided him with continuous help as a young child to make his music career a success. <\/p>\n

“I saw him in those days, often despised, you know. I thought to myself, ‘Teringlijder, keep what you can understand.’ However, later on I really had a lot of respect for him and that’s what got me to where I am now.” <\/p>\n

“You’re good at it, aren’t you?” <\/p>\n

The singer’s father underwent aortic surgery in recent years. During the operation, it was determined that they were men with lung cancer. <\/p>\n

“It’s been two months and the first time, and I’m standing up. We were so proud. I said to him, “Daddy, you’re bloody here, aren’t you?” Suddenly, those big brown eyes on him, and he said, “If you think to believe, I don’t think so either.’” <\/p>\n

With the help of the Ambulance and Wish foundation, he was a father at the end of November, in case his son was present. “They took him there on a stretcher and then he was standing on the sidelines looking at us. That was very, very special, which is why I’m very, very happy with that.” <\/p>\n
