my 600 lb life <\/em>Season 7 Destinee LaShaee was a hit in 2019, when they appeared on the show as the first transgender star. When the Fates began their journey, just 27 years old and 668.5 pounds, they sought help from Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, aka Dr. Now. They eventually qualified for bariatric surgery. Destinee has been candid about her mental health issues. When they come out as gay and then transgender, they don’t feel fully accepted. Destinee even admitted to trying to take her own life. Their brother Anthony died in Destinee’s arms from an aneurysm caused by a blood clot after a minor surgery.<\/p>
