Rob van Someren believes that luistercijfers and market shares should count in voting for RadioRing and the audience award for the best radio show. The idea is that the process is smoother in line with radio DJs. <\/p>\n

“Attention to the issue of RadioRing, ed.) is actually getting stronger every year, as more and more is declared the campaign that surrounds it and determines whether you end up being a winner or a loser,” according to Van Someren in The Perstribune. The radio DJ who won last Friday, for the third year in a row, except for the price: he finished in third place. <\/p>\n

According to Van Someren, it’s important to make sure the public hears it, but he fears voters can’t find radio stations that go. “There may be many radio broadcast voices from voters who will never be heard,” he says. “They are only invited to cast their vote, and you think, come on, I know them from somewhere, I will only check with them.” <\/p>\n

Van Someren believes that because of the weight of the luistercijfer, the market share of the radio stations themselves will be more important in determining who wins RadioRing. <\/p>\n

“Everything that does not have to manage, its market share, and luistercijfers. And, as the general public can decide,” says Van Someren. “Undoubtedly there will be a good algorithm to find it. You say voting can also be done, but we want to know if a particular program is because it is highly valued. So it is up to me to be a fairer vote.” <\/p>\n
