war photographer Eddy van Wessel, this evening, Silver-Camera, no later than 2019. the Dutch photo prijs, won the game. This is what forms the foundation for The Silver Camera. He won first prize for his series The Last Bastion of the War in Syria. <\/p>\n

It is the last stronghold of a series of wars in Syria, where Wessel will be in March, the fall of Baguz and the final showdown of the Islamic State (IS). He took pictures of people who were beaten due to violence while fleeing and taken to a refugee camp. <\/p>\n

finally, the judges described the series as photographic and “overwhelming”. Wessel is also to be commended for the installation. Each image adds something to the whole and takes the viewer into a world far removed from the general population in the Netherlands,” said the president of the judges, Marc Prüst. this is the third time that Wessel’s photo prij has won. He won the award in 2012 and 2015. <\/p>\n

In addition to the first prize for the Zilveren camera, on Saturday evening, prizes will be awarded in eight different categories, namely in the storytelling category, and the sports photo of the year. <\/p>\n
