But the feature seems set to return in the next iteration.  The Galaxy Watch 6 Pro reportedly has a physical rotating bezel to interact with the device.<\/p>\n<p>This news is according to Korean tipster SuperRoader.  The next Pro smartwatch is said to bring back a physical rotating bezel to interact with software.  Furthermore, the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will also keep its focus on offering at least two days of battery life.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Boxall\/Digital Trends<\/p>\n<p>However, the regular Galaxy Watch 6 is likely to miss out on a feature that would make the Pro model stand out from the non-Pro variant.  It could also help Samsung make a leap in design in a generational upgrade, rather than making it a repetitive product.<\/p>\n<p>In a world where most smartwatches look identical, having an original design element like a physically rotating bezel is a big deal.  With the Galaxy Watch 5, Samsung has created a watch that looks no different from the competition.  I previously speculated that, like 3D Touch on the iPhone, Galaxy Watch owners may not have known about the existence of a physical rotating bezel, leading Samsung to drop the feature.  If the company is bringing it back, it needs to market it in a better way than before, so that Galaxy Watch 6 Pro owners actually know the feature exists.<\/p>\n<p>Digital Trends contributor Nadeem Sarwar also speculated that the merging of Tizen and Wear OS could have made things difficult for the rotating bezel on the Galaxy Watch 5 series. This could have made it difficult for Samsung to create specific functions for each app in the Google Play Store.  And instead of opting for per-app optimization, Samsung decided to leave it out.
