Who is Vivek Ramaswamy’s wife Apoorva Tewari?<\/h2>\n

Vivek Ramaswamy is an American businessman and biotechnology investor, born on August 9, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Indian immigrant parents. During her graduation, he attended Harvard University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology in 2007. He studied law at Yale Law School, where he received a J.D. in 2013 .He began his career in biotechnology investment banking at Qatalyst. Partners, a boutique investment bank, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry. In 2013, he left the partnership and became a partner at MPM Capital, a venture capital firm focused on healthcare. Ramaswamy leads investments in biotech companies such as Arvinas and Kymera.<\/p>\n

In 2014, Ramaswamy founded Roivant Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company aimed at developing and commercializing innovative therapies for diseases with high unmet medical needs. His vision as orchestrated by Roivant is to create a decentralized model for drug development that can accelerate the pace of innovation in the healthcare industry. It is known that under his leadership, Roivant has raised more than 3 billion USD in funding and established many subsidiaries focusing on drug development. Some of Roivant’s notable subsidiaries include AXOVANT SCIENCE, MYOVANT SCIENCE and DERMAVANT SCIENCE.<\/p>\n

Roivant has also established subsidiaries focused on drug development, drug distribution and artificial intelligence in drug development. In 2017, Roivant went public through a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merger with Axovant Sciences. Ramaswamy has been recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropy. In 2019, he was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the healthcare industry. He has also donated millions of dollars to charitable causes, including the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union.<\/p>\n

Although he prefers to keep his personal life away from public attention, however, according to reports, he is married to Apoorva Tiwari Ramaswamy. Apoorva is an accomplished surgeon and assistant professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she specializes in the field of endocrinology. Endocrine surgery includes surgical treatment of diseases that affect endocrine-related glands, such as the thyroid and parathyroid glands. She is considered an expert in the field and has written several articles in leading medical journals. Vivek thus credited Apoorva as a source of inspiration and support throughout his career.<\/p>\n
