She also served as president of Pakistan Medical Association Punjab from 2008 to 2010 and as president of Women’s Development .
However, she is a gynecologist by profession and was the head of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at King Edward Medical University. In addition, she also worked at Rawalpindi Medical College, Fatima Jinnah Medical College and headed the Genealogy department of Central Park Medical College.
