A mother goes viral when the school edits her son’s photo and viewers are confused 2023

A mother has gone viral on TikTok after getting her son’s photos back the day after the photo shoot and discovering that they had been unnecessarily edited.

Looking beautiful on picture day is something everyone experiences during their school days and it has naturally become a bigger thing thanks to social media.

If you wear a school uniform, nothing will stand out too much. However, if you wear your own clothes, some students will see it as an opportunity to show off their best clothes. Technically, this isn’t a fashion show, but don’t tell them.

However, in the case of TikToker Damnnn Derri, she felt confused when she received photos of her son that had been edited. And, naturally, the video went quite viral.

Derri uploaded his video on October 11, and it received more than 4 million views in just over a day. In it, she shows off photos of her son that she received back – including images of his teeth that have been edited to create porcelain veneers and dimples.

The TikToker also revealed that she emailed the school to request the original photos. “I need unedited photos of my son, this is not my son!” she shot back.

Naturally, the Internet also saw the funny side of it. “Who is the photographer, I am trynna book,” one person commented. “He’s also very handsome, that’s just unnecessary,” another added. “I wish they did this when I took pictures at school,” another said.

Derri also followed up her viral video by noting that she took her son to the barber shop before the photos were taken — and he didn’t seem to be in the mood for it. “Y’all, nephew got mad,”

It remains to be seen whether she will get the originals back and whether she will share them. But now, the Internet is having fun with the results of the strange edits.
