Banned Fortnite streamer ‘HydraSZN’ begged Twitch to be unbanned after joking he was a “child predator”.

ABOVE August 20Twitter/X user ‘yoxics’ has called on Twitch to take action against Fortnite live streamer HydraSZN after they made questionable jokes about being a “predator”.

After being killed by enemies in the game, the streamer began calling himself a “baby hunter” and saying he “likes kids”. The clip went viral on X, where to be fair much of the community was outraged by the comments, many of which called for the Amazon-owned platform to take action.

Twitch finally took action against Hydra on August 24 in the form of an indefinite suspension from the platform. Now, the Twitch streamer, who switched to Kick when he called for the ban to be unbanned, has begged the platform to reconsider the suspension.

in one Tweet August 26The 19-year-old Fortnite streamer admitted he deserved a backlash for the “stupid joke” – but explained that he believes the indefinite ban is unfair.

“I deserve to be hated for making a stupid joke, but if Twitch were to ban me for this they could literally ban thousands of other streamers,” he wrote. “I don’t deserve to be banned indefinitely, Twitch is my job, my childhood dream, and I finally made it.”

He added: “Unban me on Twitch. #FreeHydra.”

Hydra continued to receive more backlash following his tweet, with many claiming the streamer was not responsible for his actions after he blamed a community member. for having “an old feud” against him.

He fight: “Many people say that I am not responsible. I’m absolutely right, what I said was just a stupid shocking joke. That’s not funny at all, I’m not trying to ‘go viral’. My tweet was meant to talk about how unfair the Twitch ban is.”

Normally, it’s hard for Twitch to change its mind when it comes to banning indefinitely. However, it is not entirely out of the realm of possibility for them to do so.
