Just like the source material, the game doesn’t deal too much with the duller aspects of student life, but if you become a powerful spellcaster, you’ll have to learn from those wiser than you.

How to unlock spells

Spells can be learned in several ways The legacy of Hogwarts. The most common way is to complete the tasks assigned to you by the professors you will meet. Almost every spell is optional to get through the main game, but it’s worth doing these quests after attending that professor’s lecture for the first time to give yourself as many options as possible.

Another way spells can be learned is through quests. You won’t miss most of them, but some are from optional side quests.

No matter how you learn the spell, you’ll still need to complete a small minigame to use it. To complete the minigame, you simply need to follow your wand around a certain pattern before the red light catches up with you. If it happens, you have to start over.
