Ferrari Formula One driver Carlos Sainz Jr. had his Richard Mille wristwatch worth ₹5,00,000 (approximately ₹5 crores) stolen in Milan, shortly after finishing third in the Italian Grand Prix. Nevertheless, he chased the criminals and successfully returned his watch.

After the incident, Sainz went to X to discuss what happened. He wrote: “As many of you already know, yesterday we had an unfortunate accident in Milan. Most importantly, we are all fine and we will only remember this as an unpleasant little story. The Ferrari driver was approached by burglars near the Armani Hotel in Milan. Sainz, his coach and the public, who witnessed the crime, chased and arrested the perpetrators, reports ESPN.

AND video Sainza, along with cops and robbers, went viral on social media. The footage shows Sainz still wearing his team kit after leaving the track in Monza, while police can be seen arresting the suspects. The caption in the video explains that Carlos ran out of breath after chasing the thieves.

Sainz’s tweet was shared just a day ago. Since it was published, it has been viewed more than nine million times. The share also received close to 13,000 likes. Several even shared their reactions in the comments section of Sainz’s post.
