A note about YouTube converter websites

In the past, we have recommended several websites that you can use to download audio from YouTube videos. These sites usually start out safe and then become overrun with malware over time. As a result, and as of this writing, we currently do not have a solid recommendation to offer you. We’ve tested a number of these sites recently and they usually either won’t load at all or have been flagged as unsafe by our anti-virus software. Another problem is that these pages also tend to have annoying pop-ups.
