X List is a great way to keep up with accounts you care about on X (formerly Twitter). The advantage of X-List is that you can select select accounts to see posts from instead of drowning in thousands of tweets on your regular timeline. And you don’t have to follow the account to add it to your List.

There’s a good chance you’re on someone’s X-List, but how do you know? We’ll show you how to see which X-List you have in this article and how to delete it yourself.

What is X List (Twitter)?

While you can switch to a chronological timeline on X, Lists offer a better alternative. Lists on X is a handy feature that allows you to organize a custom timeline. X-List gives you control over what you see, unlike a regular timeline that contains a mixture of different information. This includes people you follow and recommendations that X’s algorithm thinks you might find interesting.

Even better, when you create a List on X, you can pin your Favorites to the top of your home timeline to create an easily accessible secondary timeline. That’s one of the main reasons why you should embrace X-List in the first place.

On X, you can join Lists and create your own Lists, and anyone else can do the same. So don’t be surprised if you find yourself part of someone’s List on X.
