Ian and Poppy go out on their own in Mythic Quest season 3 trailer

After more than a year away, the workplace comedy on Apple TV+ A mythical quest returns for its third season. But unlike the first two seasons, this year’s episodes follow two different companies. Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney) and Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao) left Mythic Quest and started their own company, GrimmPop Studios. But as you can see in the new trailer for season three, Ian’s ego might be a little out of control. He was once the creative director of the most popular MMORPG in the world, and now he believes that means he belongs among the greatest pioneers in history.

Former games examiner Dana (Imani Hakim) is tasked with keeping the peace between Ian and Poppy as their new receptionist. But they don’t pay Dan to be their moderator, and they’re already pushing her against the wall. Meanwhile, David Brittlesbee (David Hornsby) has taken over the Mythic Quest and doesn’t seem up for the job. And he clearly harbors some bitter feelings towards his former colleagues, Ian and Poppy. David even tries to convince himself and others that Ian and Poppy were never that important in the game.

Similarly, Ian finds it hard to leave the world of games he spent so much time creating. Ian is especially noted that his character from the game in Hollywood will be played by Joe Manganiello. Ian’s ongoing obsession seems to be one of the key areas of conflict between him and Poppy. They both have eccentric and sometimes over-the-top personalities, but if they don’t stay together, GrimmPop could be a disaster.

Meanwhile in Mythic Quest, Danny Pudi’s Brad Bakshi is out of prison and now works for the company as a janitor instead of head of monetization. Somehow that makes Brad look weirder than ever.

Jessie Ennis also returns this season as David’s assistant, Jo, with Ashly Burch as Rachel. However, F. Murray Abraham will not be returning as CW Longbottom.

A mythical quest season 3 will begin with two new episodes on Friday, November 11. The remaining eight episodes of the season will be released weekly via Apple TV+.
