It looks like LeBron James and Stephen Curry are coming to the Olympics this summer. The All-Stars were named to the U.S. basketball shortlist Monday for the Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

The 35-year-old James, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, founded in 2004, in Athens, will appear at the Games for the first time, and is not in a disappointing third place with the USA team.

James picked up after the gold in 2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London and, then, is not part of the party in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, because at that time he was, just like many other vedettes in the preferred as a period of rest.

31-year-old Curry plays for the Golden State Warriors, they have never been seen in Play, but he was invited to the team in 2010, in Turkey, in 2014. Spain became the world champion.

In addition to James and Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook are part of it, among others. Durant and Thompson are currently recovering from serious injuries.

“The commitment, the desire, the excitement around the Olympics, to go out with all these athletes, is tremendous,” said Jerry Colangelo, executive director of the umbrella USA Basketball.

“All of these players are exceptional talents, and their worth has been proven many, many times over. Picking the best out of a group of twelve is a daunting challenge, if not nearly impossible. We’ll have to think about it.”

Gregg Popovich, head coach of the Americans, while Play announces the final selection at the beginning of June. The twelve chosen ones will start the camp in July, two weeks after the NBA finals. The games start on July 24.
