From best friends to girlfriends – JoJo Siwa and Avery Cyrus started their relationship as best friends, but their relationship developed into a romantic relationship soon after.

The former couple started out as friends making social media videos together, giving fans a glimpse into their soon-to-be-married relationship. It wasn’t until September 2022 that the couple officially announced their relationship through a TikTok video. In the clip, the pair can be seen at Chuck E. Cheese posing for photos in a photo booth, with a snap capturing a sweet smile.

However, Avery confirmed in December 2022 that the couple had broken up, noting in a TikTok comment that they were “better as friends.”

JoJo has since accused Avery of using her for influence in the videos. Avery has now taken to TikTok, where she opened up about her previous relationship, which she called “toxic.”

In a TikTok video, Avery revealed how one of her ex-girlfriends, due to the events mentioned, fans are sure about JoJo, broke up with her via a voice memo.

She begins the video by recounting how the two of them went to a concert and ran into JoJo’s ex, Instagram star Kylie Prew, and her girlfriend at the time, TikToker Rylin Utah.

“Her ex was very interested in the conversation, and she said: Oh my God, I heard she’s going to play this song on her smiley album.

“Her girlfriend and I just sat there like that,” she said while sitting with her arms crossed and a slightly uncomfortable look on her face.

The next day, Avery revealed that JoJo had said she wanted to reach out to her ex to tell her that there was no bad blood between them and also showed Avery the text message she was going to send before send.

However, Avery later discovered that Jojo had actually been sending more messages to her ex, which reminded them of things they had kept secret during their relationship and even called each other by nickname. She confronts JoJo, who says she will stop responding to messages.

“Fast forward to three days later, she dropped me off at the airport to go home and as soon as I walked through the front door, she sent me a voice memo saying goodbye to me. Through voice memos!” Avery revealed. “I was so distraught, I didn’t expect it one bit.

“The next morning, on the plane to meet my parents, I realized the whole story of ‘I was wrong, I dreamed about you, it was me, not you.’

Avery revealed that, although she wanted JoJo back, she told her to really think about what she wanted because she wouldn’t be able to stand being indecisive.

But even though JoJo showered her with gifts and love, something wasn’t right. After confronting Jojo again after sensing something was wrong, JoJo suggested they just be friends to “take away the worries” of their relationship.

“And then a few days later, she was seen hanging out with her ex,” Avery said.

She ended the video by saying that, although they went on a business trip together, they later ended it for good.

It is currently unknown whether Avery or JoJo are dating anyone else.
