KSI vs Tommy Fury result changed as judge sent ‘inaccurate’ scorecards 2023

The controversial results of the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight have been updated less than 24 hours after the boxing contest as a judge allegedly miscalculated their scores.

After months of build-up, the final push came on October 14 when KSI stepped into the ring against undefeated Tommy Fury. Over all six rounds, the YouTube superstar held his own against boxing royalty, with many believing he did enough to win on the scorecards, especially with the previous fouls that cost Fury penalized.

However, when the score was announced in front of 21,000 passionate fans in Manchester, Fury was declared the winner by majority decision. One judge deemed it a draw while two others scored it in favor of Fury.

Immediately declaring that he would appeal this decision, KSI appeared extremely angry in the ring, claiming that this was a blatant “robbery”. Now the real score has been updated, although not quite as the social media celebrity imagined.

Fury’s victory over KSI has now been updated from a majority decision to a unanimous decision victory. One judge is said to have submitted ‘inaccurate’ scorecards when they miscounted the rounds.

Having now adjusted their decision accordingly and correctly added six rounds, the ringside judge now joins the rest of the panel in scoring the fight 57-56 for Fury.

Therefore, there is now even a definitive victory for the still undefeated boxing prodigy, who has officially won against both Jake Paul and KSI.

“In the ring and watching the fight back, I felt like I should have won,” KSI followed on his own social media accounts, reinforcing his stance. “No matter what, I feel like I’ve finally accomplished what I wanted.”

Currently, we have not yet seen an official appeal issued by the KSI camp in an effort to reevaluate the judge’s scorecard. However, even on appeal, there is clearly no guarantee that the decision will be overturned.

So for now, Fury is proud of this unanimous decision win over another influential man, while KSI’s future in the sport remains in doubt.
