Mitch Jones revealed to viewers that Twitch refused to work with him despite being ranked as the 35th most subscribed channel on the platform.
Mitch Jones was an early adopter of Twitch, developing a loyal fan base of World of Warcraft followers who were initially drawn to the streamer for his PvP content.
Having started streaming in 2011, the influencer’s recent content has been less consistent than his early years – receiving multiple bans from Twitch, leaving him unable to use the platform and lost its partnership with Twitch in 2019.
Mitch Jones revealed that he tried to sign up for a partnership with Twitch again, but the platform was no longer as receptive to him as it was before he was banned.
Mitch Jones promised to “prove” himself after being rejected by Twitch
Mitch Jones shared Twitch’s response to his question about collaborating again on Twitter.
An email response from Twitch told the World of Warcraft streamer, “Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a Partnership at this time. More than 2 million broadcasters stream live on our platform every month, but the Partner Program covers only a small percentage of them. While we want to include all of our broadcasters in the program, we have to be selective about the channels we accept.”
Several Twitch partners like Greek God and other Kick streamers responded to Mitch Jones’ tweet in the comments section.
Streamers who have previously run into trouble with Twitch, like IRL streamer Adin Ross and Overwatch’s Dafran, have moved to Kick – and viewers speculate whether Mitch might do the same.
