NEET SS 2023 Exams Postponed
NEET SS 2023 Exam: The National Board of Medical Sciences Examinations has postponed the NEET SS 2023 exams. The exams have been postponed due to the G20 summit which will be held in the second week of September.
According to the official notification releases, in view of the 18th G20 Summit being held in India on September 9-10, 2023 and the consequent travel restrictions to be placed in Delhi on September 8-10, 2023, the NEET SS exams which are were scheduled for September 9 and 10, 2023, were postponed. The schedule further states that the revised schedule for NEET-SS 2023 will be available soon on the NBEMS website.

In a recent notification, the board further stated that Srinagar is not considered as a test city due to security concerns. The Federation of All India Medical Association has however requested an additional examination center for candidates from Srinagar.
The ticket for NEES SS 2023 will be issued on September 4, 2023, according to the available schedule. By changing the date of the exam, a change in the schedule of events that will follow the exam is expected.
NEET SS is conducted for DM.MCh admission and DrNB Super Specialty programs are offered in various campuses. However, it must be noted that NEET SS results will not be considered for admission to AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS campuses with super-specialty programs, PGIMER, JIPMER, Puducherry, NIMHANS, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences.
