Pilot lauds Dubai airport for finding her month-old lost watch

A pilot has praised Dubai Airport’s lost and found department for finding her watch, which she lost a month ago. She also mentioned that she was ‘super impressed’ by the efforts of the airport staff.

Hana Mohsin Khan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Last month while managing a return flight to Dubai, I went to duty free. During security I took off my watch and forgot to take it. I had thought it was lost forever when I was coming back to find I no longer had it. I contacted my ground staff in Dubai, and long story short, after writing them three emails, Dubai lost and found, found it! on the second flight to Dubai yesterday, and off I went to their office in Dubai duty free. She further added, “I’m extremely impressed with the lost and found department there. I’m amazed that I got my watch back with so little hassle! Such is life there. It was a good reminder! Growing up in the Middle East, it took us a long time to remember to lock the car and house doors. Law and order is just great!”
