After Sarah started smoking marijuana at age 14, her mother kicked her out of the house, and she continued to live with her father, who was a Meth dealer and “heavy Meth user.” Seeing him deal and use Meth, the 60 Days In star was always intrigued by the drug. So one day her father’s younger friend (whom Sarah found “very attractive”) offered her Meth and she tried it! The rest is history.

Also, none of the other family members cared about her then. Even after she got sober and tried with all her might to start a new life, her family and friends abandoned her. But Sarah never gave up.

“You ask me HOW… it’s that I don’t give up. Even when people I thought were my friends blocked me, some family members didn’t support me, no live viewing, no likes, no comments, and when I thought I wouldn’t make it,” she explained.

However, her younger sister was an exception among them. “My little sister always had my back through it all,” she said.
