Former Summer House couple Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard recently ended their engagement, but Danielle Olivera isn’t convinced about Carl’s reason for breaking up.
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard had a shocking breakup after Summer House Season 8 ended filming. Danielle Olivera believes Carl isn’t being honest about why they’re not together anymore.
Lindsay and Carl remain close friends on the show. They planned to have a wedding in November, but Carl canceled the wedding. Lindsay and Carl first tried to start a romantic relationship in Summer House Season 4, but the timing wasn’t right for either of them.
In Summer House Season 7, Lindsay and Carl were criticized for their relationship moving “too fast” and for isolating themselves from the group. This caused a rift in the relationship between Lindsay and her longtime friend, Danielle, causing a rift between them.

Although Lindsay and Danielle were at odds in Summer House Season 7, they made amends during the reunion with the help of Andy Cohen. Since then, their relationship has been better than ever and Danielle continues to receive Lindsay’s support.
At a taping of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast in New York City, Danielle admitted that she was skeptical about Carl’s side of the story. “People really wanted to believe that side of Carl and ultimately, I wanted to believe that side of the story too. I’m just not okay right now.”
“I think it will take some time to learn. Like, you know, there’s the real part, there’s the Lindsay part, there’s Carl, and there’s the part where we’re all lying,” Danielle added.
Summer House season 8 hasn’t aired yet but it’s sure to be interesting. Viewers will eventually see Lindsay and Carl’s breakup play out and that may give them an idea of what happened.
Now that Danielle and Lindsay are friends again, Danielle can support her during this difficult time. Danielle announced her split from ex-boyfriend Robert Sieber in February.
Whether Carl’s reason for breaking up with Lindsay is valid or not, the real story will finally be revealed when Summer House returns.
