A couple went viral on TikTok after choosing to put a speeding ticket on their wedding registry, sending viewers into a frenzy.

In the 15-second clip with more than 363,000 views, TikToker Annabelle (imthatgurlneb) revealed that her fiancé, James, put his speeding ticket on their wedding wish list.

“The wedding took place in 26 days, the timing couldn’t have been better,” the content creator wrote on the video as she filmed her husband-to-be sitting in front of the computer with a speeding ticket in hand.

Annabelle then zoomed in on the computer screen, which displayed the words “James Speeding Ticket Fund, $231” on their wedding registry. James clicked on the ticket fund, which took him to the “Gift Details” section where he could add notes for guests to read. He simply wrote: “PLEASE HELP!”

“The Knot, can we add the state of Oklahoma to our registry?” Annabelle added in the caption. “Feel free to support James during his bad times on Knot at Annabelle and James’s Wedding Register.”

Many TikTok users in the comments applauded James and even offered to donate to his “Speed Ticket Fund.”

“I will donate to the plot. What is the link, one viewer wrote. “If I donate can I come to the wedding,” another said. “Send wedding fund link,” a third added.

Others shared their own similar experiences. One user commented: “My husband was fined for speeding while we were on our way to the courthouse to get our marriage license.”

“Bruh, I wrecked my car the day I bought the ring,” another shared. “My best friend was suspended from work for a month the day after he proposed. Life always finds crazy ways to make things interesting,” another wrote.
